As in the day of Ezra, we believe that the people of God are in need of restoration. We need our souls, our marriages, our families and our church restored.
At least part of God's answer to restoration is joy. Restore the joy of the Lord to our lives and our souls are healed. Return the joy of the Lord to worship, service, study of the Word, and to the relationships in our families, and then the church will be significantly restored.
In our small body, approximately 100, we are attempting to live out the high standards of God's Word with joy.
We emphasize the relevance of all scripture, Old and New Testament, to the maturing of the individual to "the full measure of the stature of Christ". Precept Bible Study methods are actively taught and practiced by our youth.
The AWANA program for children through high school is the central focus for our youth ministry, and our people have wholeheartedly supported generously this emphasis. Thursday night youth group runs about 45 to 55 Jr and Sr high students.
The young hearted Seniors’ active participation provides stability, maturity and spiritual examples of encouragement. The fellowship at each Sunday night's dinner provides a unifying and strengthening bond that we view as vital.
The power of God will be demonstrated in direct relation to the prayers of His people. Sunday morning worship is an environment which encourages the participation of prayer and praise as well as during our prayer meeting on Wednesday night at 7 p.m. at SWC..
Welcome to Sequim and Olympic Bible Fellowship! It's a great place to live, raise a family and serve the Lord!

Membership
We believe everyone who has made a personal commitment to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior becomes a "member" of the Church represented as a Christ-ruled and Christ-centered brotherhood.
Because of this we have chosen not to have a formal membership.
Even so, we want to stress the importance of commitment to one another as a "family" of Christ.
Thus, we encourage all who join with us in fellowship to prayfully read the following in regard to fellowship: Having been led by God the Holy Spirit to receive the Lord Jesus Christ as our personal Savior, and desiring to unite in the worship, fellowship and testimony of that part of the Body of Christ known as Olympic Bible Fellowship, we purpose to:
walk together in Christian love. |
pray with and for one another. |
be thoughtful and courteous to one another, slow to take offense, quick to forgive, quick to seek forgiveness. |
guard the purity of the Church and participate in and contribute to its growth in the knowledge of Scripture. |
assist as the Lord enables, both physically and financially in the work of the church. |
love and pray for all believers. |
establish consistent, personal Bible study, prayer, and family devotions. |
bring our children up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. |
seek to be above reproach among men honest, forthright and faithful, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts. |
be an example, in word and deed so that others may come to a saving faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. |
